Worship The Creator And Not His Creation

By Mitch Risenhoover

Our local area is filled with beauty and history and many of us have rich roots that go deep into this soil. Many of us are concerned with the trends that are taken place and the effects that it might have to this part of the country.

Myself, I am very concerned with events that are taking place all over this world and how it might affect this country in the future. We are seeing our freedoms erode and many of the areas we were once free to roam are being barricaded, fenced off or restricted in some form. Private land is being attacked and what we once took for granted may soon fade into history. We must trust to our Lord and savior our liberator and place our trust in scripture. The beauty that we see in this world is his creation, we must worship the creator and not his creation. The ones who will come will not worship the creator but his creation. We must trust in him and encourage one another as we face the coming storms that our Lord has told us about in scripture.

Isaiah 12:2

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”.
