Here is a reminder that this Friday is a memorial service for the Sheriff Deputy Dalton Janz. Such a loss for so many! See the information on the memorial below, this is your opportunity to show your support for the families involved, as we are ALL one Community. Montezuma County Sheriff's Office · Services for Dalton Janz of the Montezuma County Sheriff's Office and Dolores Volunteer Fire Department will be at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds, Friday, December 2nd at 10:00 am. Please be early as a procession will be coming from Ertels Funeral Home to the Fairgrounds. After the service, a procession will take place en route to Mancos. The route will be eastbound on Hwy 160 and turn off onto the 160 business route. It will travel eastbound on Grand Avenue. This should enter the town after 11:00 am. It will turn onto South Main and onto Montezuma County Road 41 to the Mancos Cemetery. Please feel free to line Grand Avenue and South Main Street in Mancos to show support to the family. Deputy Dalton Janz was an amazing young man, Deputy, and Firefighter. Come show him and his family the most possible support.
