Freedom Night a Huge Success

The Freedom Night Fundraiser held on October 22 and sponsored by the Republican Women of Montezuma County was an Event to remember. It was sold out to a crowd of 270 Patriots, and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed themselves.

It was held at the Cortez Elks and the banquet room was warm and inviting with lighting and decorations by Frances Roggenback. People seemed to enjoy sitting at tables labeled "Deplorables", "Conspiracy Theorists" or even "Domestic Terrorists". People purchased copies of Lauren's book "My American Life" , had them signed by Lauren, and all the available 25 copies were sold. Then Lauren gave photo ops with her supporters.

The Event started with an Invocation by Ron Serabia and the Pledge of Allegience led by Roger Echols, and THEN the Live Auction started. Verde Auctions ran this and it was hopping and crazy and FUN. Everyone got involved, and everything sold well. After that, dinner was served: a delicious ribeye steak (grilled on the patio) dinner with baked potato and salads. There were plenty more items available in a Silent Auction that ran throughout the event.

The rest of the evening was led by the Emcee Larry Don Suckla, who introduced the VIP's present and our speakers, Allen Maez, Shelli Shaw and Keynote Speaker Lauren Boebert.

Lauren was on fire speaking out against the Democrat policies and Biden regime.

The Republican Women of Montezuma County want to thank EVERYONE who had a part in making this event a success. Over $20,000 was raised for our Republican Candidates. Montezuma County can be proud of their involvement and support of this event.
